Madder Lake
Madder Lake are an Australian progressive rock band who originally formed in Melbourne in the late 60s. They were one of the first bands signed to Michael Gudinski's Mushroom Records, who released their debut single, "Goodbye Lollipop" in 1973, followed by the album Stillpoint.
This contained their biggest hit, the smash single "12lb Toothbrush". A compilation album The Best of Madder Lake was released by Mushroom Records in 1978.
Madder Lake remain active today, playing live consistently.
