The Stockley See Mason band was hugely popular in it's brief time together, nowhere moreso than in Melbourne. 

 

The band existed from 1978 to 1981, forming from the ashes of 3 iconic bands - Ariel, Country Radio, and The Dingoes - although Chris Stockley, Sam See and Glyn Mason's musical pedigree stretched well before those bands.

The guitar work was brilliant. The Harmonies stunning. And live they were amongst the best. Stockley See Mason only produced one album, the wonderful 'Beg Steal or Borrow', and a very rare movie which is a wonderful snapshot of a moment in time - and hilarious.! You can see the SSM movie here.
